Belfast — Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast will host a murder mystery dinner Saturday, March 31, at 6 p.m. The evening will serve up a performance of the play "Girls Night Out" by Rick Artis in between delicious Italian dinner courses.

The play circles around four friends on their way to the theater who decide to dine at a restaurant owned by one of their ex-husbands. Unfortunately, the ex-husband is murdered … and each of the friends has a motive for wishing him dead.

It promises to be an evening of intrigue, good food and fun. Each member of the audience has a chance to identify the murderer, and the one of the lucky attendees who guesses the correct murderer will go home with two tickets to a local theater production.

Tickets to the dinner theater are $25 each; a table for eight may be reserved for $175. The event is open to the public, but due to the length of the performance and dinner, it is not recommended for children.

To reserve a place at the dinner theater table, contact the church at 338-4482 or office@uubelfast.org. The church office is open Mondays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
