How do you like your risotto? True Venetians like it all’onda, on the wave, rippling like a gondola riding the gentle currents of the Venetian lagoon. That’s how we make it at Nina June with Chef Sara and that’s one of the great Venetian dishes she’ll be teaching on Monday, February 26. Come join us for a taste of risotto nero (black risotto) and a bunch of other great dishes from the cuisine of Venice—including baccala mantecato, a wonderfully creamy salt cod that’s served on crostini with a glass of prosecco, or pesce en saor, a delightful tart and savory fish that’s a delicious dinner centerpiece-but we also imagine it perfectly for supper in the garden when summer comes. Classes are hands on, 4:30 to 7:30, $150, including dinner and wine.
