Oct 18, 2019
Photo by: Sarah E. Reynolds A flag placed by the VFW flaps in the breeze on Main Street in Belfast Oct. 18. The post is asking for the return of several flags that came down in the windstorm of Oct. 16-17.

Belfast — Many of the flags that Randall Collins VFW Post 3108 members have hung around the city came down in the Nor'easter windstorm Oct. 16 and 17, and seven flags are still missing.

Operations Manager Jim Roberts asks that anyone who finds a flag kindly return it to the Belfast Police or Fire Department, or phone him at 338-2358 and he will be glad to come pick it up.
