Belfast — The seniors on the Belfast Area High School softball and baseball teams faced off against the Maine Game Wardens in a charity softball contest on Sunday, May 19 at Walsh Field complex.

The Lions edged the Wardens 17-16 in the game, but, more importantly, raised more than $17,000 dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to grant wishes to children with health challenges.

In the video, participants speak about the game, fundraising and what it means to them to play in the contest. Read a preview of the game, as well as its details here.
