Waldo County Sheriff's Department reported the following recent activity:

Aug. 30

Grace Jameson, 23, of Bangor, leaving the scene of a property damage crash.

Aug. 27

Sandra Mercier, 59, of Montville was traveling south on Pinnacle Road in Liberty according to a sheriff's report. At the intersection with Fishtown Road a deer ran out, but Mercier was unable to avoid striking the animal. No charges were filed.

Mark Frost, 39, of Pospect, aggravated assault.

Aug. 25

Rodney Hansen, 50, of Brewer, was traveling south on Albion Road in Unity according to a sheriff's report. He said a spider was on the driver's side window and he attempted to roll down the window to allow it to escape. Hansen said the spider fell down and as he scrambled to get it out, he went off the road and struck a tree. He was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center for injuries. No charges were filed.

Mikaela Slasger, 21, of Waldo, arrested, charged with domestic violence assault.

Aug. 24

Sarah Chase, 31, of Brooks, arrested, charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, criminal mischief, assault.
