Waldo County Sheriff's Department reported three speeding violations and the following recent activity:

Oct. 27

Matthew Watermen, 29, of Burnham, was traveling north on Detroit Road in Troy near the intersection of Bog Road. According to the Sheriff's report the roads were slush-covered and slippery, and Watermen was traveling too fast for the conditions. Watermen went off the road, struck an embankment and his vehicle rolled onto its roof. No injuries were reported.

Oct. 26

Melinda R. Grotton, 40, of Liberty, was driving south on Pinnacle Road. According to the Sheriff's report, a deer ran into the roadway and Grotton was unable to avoid striking the animal. Grotton was not injured and her car sustained minor damage.

Oct. 24

David Greenleaf, 25, of Brunswick, operating after suspension.

Megan McKeighan, 22, of Freedom, passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing.

Oct. 23

Michael Johnson, 36, of Ellsworth, operating after suspension.
