Waldo County Sheriff's Department reported one speeding violation and the following recent activity:

Nov. 24

Scott Russell, 39, of Winterport, arrested, charged with operating without a license in violation of conditions, operating under the influence with one prior.

Nov. 22

Edmund T. Steves, 43, of Swanville, was driving northbound on Waldo Station Road in Waldo. The Sheriff's report said Steves was driving too fast for the conditions and skidded off to the right, side-swiping a utility pole.

Nov. 21

Cole Lawrence, 68, of Stockton Springs, was traveling westbound on Loggin Road in Frankfort. The Sheriff's report said he was traveling too fast for the conditions and spun around 180 degrees to the left. The vehicle then went off the road and flipped over.

Jessica Tracy, 38, of Winterport, operating after suspension.

Nov. 20

Peter Viekman, 23, of Winslow, crashed on Albion Road in Unity. According to the Sheriff's report, Viekman was traveling too fast for the conditions, slid off the road and into the ditch. No injuries reported.

Dale Fuller, 41, of Frankfort, was traveling north on N. Searsport Road. According to the Sheriff's report, as he crested a hill, Fuller noticed a stopped school bus in the southbound lane. Fuller attempted to stop but skidded off the road and hit a utility pole. No injuries reported.

Nov. 19

Jason Huff, 43, of Unity, terrorizing and aggravated criminal mischief.

Nov. 18

Jenna Maddocks, 25, of Searsport, operating after suspension.

Nov. 17

Annette Ames, 60, of Searsmont, arrested, charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume or possess alcohol.

Nov. 16

Shawn Judkins, 19, of Unity, arrested, charged with manslaughter and operating under the influence. According to the Sheriff's office, the grand jury indicted Judkins as a result of a car crash that happened Aug. 4 in Burnham. One of his passengers, Cheyenne Bryden, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff's office reported Judkins only had a learner's permit to drive. A 16-year-old backseat passenger was also hospitalized after the crash.

Nov. 15

Daniel Lombard, 29, of Troy, arrested, charged with operating under the influence.

Nelson Walker, 61, of Prospect, violating protection order.

Nov. 14

Carl Burch, 47, of Brooks, operating after suspension, violating conditions of release.

Joyce Larrabee, 73, of Thorndike struck a deer that ran into roadway.

Nov. 11

Lee Slagle, 42, of Knox, arrested, charged with criminal mischief, domestic violence assault.

Nov. 10

Nathan Gilbert, 43, of Searsmont, operating without a license in violation of conditions, operating under the influence with one prior.
