Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported one registration violation, two speeding violations and the following recent activity:

Aug. 25

Kergan T. Perkins, 18, of Frankfort, operating in violation of restriction, illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

Riley Porter, 23, Monroe, failure to give notice of crash by quickest means, leaving the scene of a crash.

Aug. 24

Keith A. Loignon, 35, of Warren, arrested, charged with assault, operating under the influence, refusal to submit to arrest, failure to give notice of crash by quickest means, operating without a license.

Aug. 20

Christine Ortiz, 19, of Waldo, operating without a license.

Aug. 11

Kimberlea Bradbury, 27, of Augusta, failure to give notice of a crash by quickest means.

Aug. 1

Sean Anderson, 37, of Liberty, violation of bail conditions, operating under the influence. Anderson was critically injured the evening of Aug. 1 when his car went off Prescott Hill Road and struck a tree. Once Anderson was extricated from the vehicle, he was flown by LifeFlight to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

June 21 (late report)

Joseph Burdette, 37, of Hope, violation of bail conditions.

Erika M. Bishop, 28, of Hope, operating under the influence. Bishop and her passenger Burdette, were traveling on Pinnacle Road in Liberty the evening of June 21 and were involved in a single-car accident which closed the road down for several hours. Bishop was ejected from the vehicle and Burdette was also injured in the crash. A dog in the car was initially reported missing, but was found two days later.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
