Dec. 5

Nov. 30

Joel Peaslee, 36, of Sidney, arrested, charged with unauthorized use (of an automobile), criminal mischief, burglary, violating conditions of release and theft by unauthorized taking.

According to the sheriff's report, a call came in from a female who was at a male friend's house. She had recently ended a longtime relationship with Peaslee.

Peaslee and an accomplice, Nicholas Dane, went to the address where the female was and forced entry into the house by damaging the door. The sheriff's deputy said their motive was to take back the vehicle that was owned jointly. In taking the car, Peaslee also took the female's purse, keys and other items in the car.

Nicholas Dane, 31, of Toledo, Ohio, arrested, charged with burglary (conspiracy).

Nov. 29

Cailin McFadden, 25, of Waldo, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
