Waldo County Unified Court closed cases

The following cases were closed in Waldo County criminal courts between the dates of March 30 and April 5.

Elisabeth M. Bormet, 35, of Belfast, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, $500 fine.

Michael Flagg, 22, of Brooks, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, $500 fine.

Justin P. Flaherty, 44, of Stockton Springs, violation of Shellfish Harvesting Rule, chapter 9, $150 fine; commercial shellfishing without a license, first offense, $316 fine.

Jeffrey A. Gordon, 55, of Brewer, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, $700 fine, Waldo County Jail 364 days, all but 65 days suspended, one year probation, license suspended three years.

Ginger L. Hegstrom, 36, of Thorndike, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, Department of Corrections three years all but 90 days suspended, probation two years.

Jesse C. Newton, 30, of Newport, terrorizing, Waldo County Jail 30 days.

David L. McCarty, 36, of Nobleboro, failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.

Roland Ladd, 48, of Brooks, domestic violence criminal threatening, with domestic violence priors, dismissed; illegal possession of firearm, Waldo County Jail 90 days.

Glenn Reed, 70, of Searsmont, unlawful sexual contact, dismissed; unlawful sexual touching, Department of Corrections 364 days; assault, dismissed; unlawful sexual touching, Department of Corrections 364 days; unlawful sexual touching, dismissed.

Richard Robbins, 50, of Deer Isle, domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed.

Brent Waterman, 22, of Belmont, operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Paul J. Zittle III, 43, of Northport, domestic violence assault, Waldo County Jail nine months; aggravated criminal mischief, Department of Corrections three years, all but nine months suspended, probation two years, restitution $1,585; obstructing report of crime, Waldo County Jail six months; disorderly conduct, loud noise, private place, Waldo County Jail six months.
