Warbirds Coming to Owls Head

In association with the Texas Flying Legends Museum of Houston and Wiscasset, ME, the Owls Head Transportation Museum is pleased to announce that three World War II-era planes will perform during our Wings & Wheels Spectacular & Aerobatic Airshow on August 4 & 5. Arriving during the week prior to the event will be a P-51 Mustang that will remain on display throughout the week. Flying-in each day will be a B-25 bomber (made famous by Col. James Doolittle who led a bombing raid of Tokyo from an aircraft carrier in 1942) and a Japanese Zero. The planes will fly demonstrations during the airshow portion of the event (1 pm to 3 pm) each day. More information is available at www.owlshead.org
