Oct 10, 2019

BELFAST — Nonprofit community art center Waterfall Arts opens its doors to the public for an open house on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. Anyone and everyone is invited to drop by 256 High St. and experience all that Waterfall Arts has to offer. There will be free art-making activities for all ages, studio tours, a bake sale, a raffle and more.

Activities and demonstrations will be happening in all of the community studios – the Print Studio, Clay Studio, Photo Darkroom, and the Bridge Studio (home to Waterfall Arts’ many Youth & Family programs). The Waterfall Arts Life Drawing group, the longest running life drawing group in the area, will be set up with a costumed model in the Dance Studio.

The Clifford Gallery and Corridor Gallery will be open for viewing "STORYFORMS: Immersive Media Selections" from the 2019 Camden International Film Festival and "CONFLUENCE: Visual stories from the Village Canoe Project."

Many of Waterfall Arts’ studio tenants, which include artists, musicians and teachers, will open up their studios to showcase their work and highlight their programs. Plans for Waterfall Arts’ future renovations will be on display. Come check out the present and future Waterfall Arts!
