In fact, if you visit many tropical countries around the world, you will find that millions of people use coconut oil as a regular part of their diets. Coconut oil has a wide variety of uses in the food industry, pharmaceuticals industry, health and wellness industries among others. Coconut oil can also be used for cooking at high temperatures like frying. Coconut oil can also last up to two years in storage due to its high saturated fat content. Coconut oil is an effective massage oil that you can use all over your body. It has the same benefits on the skin as mineral oil. Coconut oil also helps in the treatment of various skin problems such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections.

Studies have shown that the regular and continuous use of coconut oil could reduce hair loss by as much as 50 percent in many cases. You can apply warm coconut oil to the roots and tips of your hair. For best results, leave the coconut oil in your hair overnight to really seep into your hair and follicles, and then shampoo the oil off in the morning. Coconut oil also strengthens your hair follicles. Coconut oil is beneficial in your thickening hair, in helping to make hair curly and full, and in giving you beautiful hair.


Deep Conditioning

Unlike other hair oils that remain on the surface of the hair, coconut oil penetrates three times deeper than some other hair oils. Contrast this with Olive oil which can only penetrate up to 25 percent% into the hair shaft, while coconut oil can penetrate 90 percent. Both hair oils are beneficial in maintaining hair health, but in different ways.
