Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) communications director Judy Berk will be discussing the top environmental news on this week’s “Finding Common Ground” with Jennifer Hill, live at noon on Saturday, February 3, on WBFY Belfast Community Radio at 100.9 FM, and streaming live at belfastcommunityradio.org (where recordings of past shows can be heard on the archive page).

Judy has made a career of environmental protection since 1976 when she managed Belfast’s Alternative Resources Store on High Street. For the past 27 years she has worked with NRCM on projects like cleaning up water pollution from Belfast’s former chicken plants, stopping the proposed AES coal-burning power plant in Bucksport, and helping Ban the Bag Belfast. She lives in Northport with her husband, David Foley.
