Where can you get food?

In the wake of Gov. Mills' mandate that all restaurants and bars close to dine-in customers through Tuesday, March 31, the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce has compiled the following list of establishments finding creative ways to continue serving the public:

The Alchemist Wellness Café – Temporarily no walk-ins until April 6, pre-order pickup/delivery in the works.

Belfast Co-op – Open six days a week  9 a.m.-7 p.m. for shopping in the store. Closing Sundays to allow a rest period for employees. Shop for ME program is running 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Saturday for pickup. Curbside delivery available, too!

Belfast Farmers Market – Opening outdoors at Waterfall Arts, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Belfast Soup Kitchen – Takeout lunch for pickup only, M-F, 10:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m.

Belfast Variety, Belfast Variety Route 52, Morrill General – Open for business.

Bell The Cat – Increased cleaning efforts, “no contact” options for picking up orders, $15 minimum to deliver to greater Belfast area. Online orders accepted.

Dairy Queen – Lobby closed until further notice, drive-thru and mobile ordering with curbside pickup only, reduced hours 11 a.m.-7 p.m., check Facebook for updates.

The Game Loft – Providing free grab-and-go lunches for all kids M-F, noon-2 p.m.

Good N You (Neighborhood) – Open Wednesday, March 25, for curbside pickup; hoping to do this again on Friday, and continue a couple of times a week, returning to our roots and offering up some items from Good N You. March 25: Falafel and gyro sandwiches with French fries and pickles. Friday, March 27: Burritos and tacos. Stay tuned for details.

Goose River Farm Store – Open as usual, Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Pre-order available by calling 323-2180 or emailing your order to boynton@gooseriverfarm.com.

Hannaford – 7 a.m.-9 p.m. daily (some stores may close at 8 p.m. on certain days), special shopping hours for 60+ customers, 6 a.m.-7 a.m. on Tue-Wed-Thurs. The staff here is working hard every day to keep things available for you – be sure to thank them!

Lincolnville General Store – Adjusted hours, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., credit cards only, increased cleaning efforts, curbside and delivery options.

Mammie’s Country Kitchen – Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please call ahead and prepay and we will bring it out to your car, 948-1515.

Marsh River Cooperative – Open for food and supplies! Email them to order.

Meanwhile – Closed to walk-ins until March 31, email to place an order for doorstep/delivery, menu online.

Molly’s Kitchen @ The Playhouse – Keeping clean kitchen, order Friday for Saturday pickup 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Mary’s barn (no contact area available if preferred) or they can bring order out to you, cash or check.

Ocean’s Edge Restaurant – Takeout and curbside service only, Mon-Sat, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Menu on Facebook page.

The Only Doughnut – Closed March 18th, hoping to reopen soon with takeout window service, possibly delivery.

Toddy Pond Farm – Open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. every day, increased cleaning efforts, self-serve honor system, call or email ahead of time for specific items or pickup if desired.

United Farmers Market of Maine – Closed until further notice – some vendors will be available in the lot across the street and will follow recommended guidelines from the Maine DEA.

United Methodist Church in Belfast, April 4th Supper – Takeout only, 4-5 p.m.

Weaver's Roadside Variety – Open as usual.

Wild Grace Farm – Opening the market (not cafe) for the season Fri-Sun, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Visit wildgracefarm.com/shop for gift cards and merchandise.

Wild Miller Farm – Open daily from dawn until dusk. They have: maple syrup and honey/pork and eggs/onions, potatoes, winter squash, veggies like beets, spinach, kale & carrots. The farm store is located at 1165 Turner Ridge Road, Palermo.

Young’s Lobster Pound – Through end of March, open only until 11 a.m. selling only live or frozen products.
