Winterport Nativity needs families

Nov 27, 2017

Winterport — There are a number of roles yet to be filled for the 50th annual Winterport Nativity Pageant, scheduled to be presented on the grounds of the historic Union Meeting House on Main Street/Route 1A Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15 and 16, at 7 p.m.

There are 17 to 20 spots to fill each night. Every year, members of the community, along with six local churches, come together to present this 12-minute outdoor play the weekend before Christmas. The only speaking part is the Narrator, an adult, and the play involves live animals.

The next practice is Sunday, Dec. 10, at 2:45 p.m. on the Meeting House hill. All interested are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Dean and Lynda El-Hajj via the Winterport Nativity Pageant page on Facebook.
