Sat. Dec. 9 , the second annual Community Christmas Festival will be held at the Wagner Middle School in Winterport.  There will be over 30 vendors there, food,(you can even eat lunch there),  raffle tickets to win a decorated Christmas tree with all the gifts, Santa Claus  and Christmas music by the school musicians. The proceeds go to the Wagner School pantry, which helps a student in need, and other school programs.

The 50th presentation of the Winterport " Live Nativity Pageant " Is being held Fri. and Sat. night Dec. 15 and 16 at 7 pm on the grounds of the Union Meeting House.  A flashlight will be handy as the lights are turned off.  Anyone who has participated in the past 50 years,  Dean and Lynda El-Hajj would like you to attend to "fill the hill." There will be a live practice Sun. Dec 10 at 2:45 at the Winterport Union Meeting House hill.

Specials from the Winterport Winery.  We are offering our 22 oz. Penobscot Bay beer at half price while supplies last.  The wine deal is $s.00 off on our dessert wines  Our hours are Fri. and Sat. 11-5p thru Dec.23, and we look forward to seeing you again for a lot of Holiday Cheer.

Winter parking rules have been in effect since Nov. 15 and will be until Apr. 15. In the village area from Lebanon Road to Whig Street parking is on the side of the Union Meeting House and the Winterport Pizza.  On odd days park on the side of where Dean's Tires is and Old Commercial House is. Even and odd days are the actual date during daylight hours and do not change at midnight in order to avoid residents having to move cars late at night. On all other streets in Winterport there is no overnight parking.  All vehicles must be off the road or they will be towed.

Remember to get your doggie a present; dog licenses are available now.
