Sunday, Jan. 14, Winterport Recreation will be having some free clinics to get the kids excited about basketball in town.  Heather Roberts and Reed Farrar will be hosting.  Tell all your friends and get there and have some fun.  It is for 5th and 6th grades and it is FREE.  Where?  Samuel Wagner Middle School, at 1:30 pm.

The Town Office, Transfer Station and Schools will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Tea Maineia is now at their new location, just down the street at 145 Main St. Premium loose leaf tea, tea pots, tea cups, accessories and many teas are available.  Stop in at the lounge for a spot of tea and maybe a taste of sweets from the Winterport Cake Company or new bakery the Wooden Spoon, both businesses in Winterport.  Chat with your neighbors and make new friends.  Sounds tempting doesn't it.  I'm going up soon and I hope you are too.  Their hours are Tues.-Sat. 9 am to 4 pm.

Frankfort Congregational Church has two events coming up.  The first one is Sun.
