Ellingwood's corner United Methodist Church, Lebanon Road (Route 69) Is having their first baked bean supper of the year Sat. April 14, 4-6 pm. Tell your friends and neighbors. On the menu: hot dogs ham, casserole, cole slaw, brown bread, biscuits, and deserts. Adults $8.00, Children under 7 are free. All you can eat. Takeout available. The thrift shop will be open 9-noon and gain from 4-6 pm.

Kids are on school vacation now. Watch out for youngsters in the road. Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Brian Dodge who passed away recently. Brian was a member of the Brewer high school 1970 class and former resident of Winterport.

Sympathy is also extended to the family and friends of Steve Harnish. Mark this on your calendar: At the next meeting of the Winterport Historical Association, May 10, there will be a potluck dinner at the museum at 6:30 P.M. The speakers will be Richard Shaw and Brian Swartz and their topic "Local History."
