Post Office Square, Belfast. Vigil on the 31st anniversary of World Aids Day to show support for people living with HIV, and to remember those who have died. Currently there are 34 million people living with HIV, 15 million receiving life-saving treatment, and new cases diagnosed in Maine every year.

Camp Chrysalis in Scarborough continues to support those in its camp family who are affected for a lifetime, but reports that the camp is no longer needed for children, as Maine is no longer seeing children born with HIV because of the availability of medications. FMI: Meredith at 338-5089.
