Join us at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries on June 1, 2 & 3 starting at 11:00 a.m. for our spring auction, “Worldly Enticements, Timeless Temptations”. In this sale we will present a tantalizing selection of rare and interesting items from around the world and across the centuries, including: fine art, jewelry & watches, French furniture & accessories, Americana, Asian antiques, important ephemera, marine items, silver, antiquities, art pottery, high end AV components, and carpets.

On Sunday, June 3, the focus will be 20th Century decorative arts and estate jewelry, featuring a 6.24 carat diamond platinum ring, a Van Cleef Cadenas gold and diamond ladies watch, an Asprey of London cased gold, and an enamel & lapis pocket watch with chatelaine. Artwork will be led by a Harriet Frishmuth bronze eagle sculpture, marble bust by Adolfo Cipriani, and painting by Paul Black. Other highlights include a 19th Century broadside depicting San Francisco’s Sutro Baths, an Oscar Bach Art Deco bronze table lamp, Red Rose speakers and other AV components, art pottery led by a Grueby vase, over 45 lots of fine silver, vintage toys, and a large group of Japanese items.  Furniture will include garden pieces, Danish modern, Thomas Moser, and a group of display cases. Finally, there will be a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic motorcycle, Winnebago motor home, and 1970s Lapstrake Rowboat by Cecil Burnham of South Bristol, ME.
