Wednesday Schedule

7 a.m. - 8 a.m On the Road
(repeat on Saturdays 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.)
I have been bicycle touring for over 25 years. Last winter I completed a tour across the USA (San Diego to Tallahassee to Atlanta, AMTRAK to St. Paul,MN, to Binghamton, NY). Each week I will talk with local bicycle experts (mechanics) and tourers, and I will also talk with visiting bicycle tourists.

8 a.m. - 9 a.m. The Chris Wolf Show
(also airs Mondays and Fridays)
An hour-long news show featuring state, local and community news. Live commentary, taped interviews, informative guests, stories, market news, features, city and town public access news and music. Also includes a rundown of entertainment news pertinent to the day with features that impact the local community’s tastes. These are

repeated from earlier broadcasts.

9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Everything Country

Derek Michaud lives in Orono Maine. He has wanted to be in radio since he was 12 years old, And is now 39 years old.

He is an avid bowler, and loves the Boston Bruins.

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Mix Tape (LIVE)

Hosted by Stephen Sweigart. On MIXTAPE you’ll hear releases from today’s best alternative artists along with an eclectic mix of rock, folk, R&B, electronic and country. I’ve been collecting music all my life and making mix tapes for just as long. The days of audiocassettes are long gone but the craft of making a good mix remains the same – selecting songs that work together to tell a story.

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. The Metro Show LIVE
Joe Steinberger will host a community guest to discuss the current situation. Questions & comments are encouraged at 207-593-0013.

6 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Center Must Hold (Live)

THE CENTER MUST HOLD is a bi-weekly radio call-in program looking at developments of interest, both political and cultural, local and global, with a decidedly irreverent slant. To paraphrase Yeats. . Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world." But friends... With all due apologies to William Butler, The Center Must Hold… Eric Your host, a sometime instructor and former student of the Autodidact, and currently a licensed trial balloon test pilot. Will present topics, from multiple viewpoints, striving to entertain, illuminate and celebrate the human condition. But remember correlation is not causation. And nobody ever makes it out alive...

7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Matinicus Wannabe
Hosted by Lock Kiermaier.  Lock will be playing an eclectic mixture of the music he loves: including rock, country, bluegrass, soul, rhythm & blues, folk, blues and whatever else he’s into on any given Wednesday.
