Our DJs are cautiously returning to live-programming in the studio but a few WRFR programmers are also still producing their shows remotely. Please note some of these shows may be re-runs so you may hear announcements of events, weather, etc. from the past.

7 a.m. - 9 a.m.  The Classical Music Show

Hosted by Spike Hyssong.  Join Spike every Sunday morning from 7-9 am, and enjoy his vast collection of classical music.

9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Blue Highway Radio

(also Saturdays at 10 p.m.)
Music that will celebrate and explore the road less traveled. Roots, Folk, Blues, Rock, and Americana music from artists local and afar; familiar and not; old and new please join your host, Bruce Swan every Sunday at 9:00 AM or Saturday @ 10 pm.


11 – 12p.m. The Flipside Show

(also Saturdays 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.)

12 - 4 p.m. Still Swingin’

“Music you don’t hear very often.” Hosted by Keith Alley


4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Built For Comfort

“Built for comfort” a collection of toe-tappin’, dance makin’, sometimes head bangin’, jamming music that has a groove. A flow of some bluesy, some rock, some jazz, some crappy 80s music, dance and disco, groovy jams and one zappa tune per show!


5 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Bonnie Farmer Show
(also Thursdays 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.)
Bonnie's show is an eclectic mix of Rock n Roll, R&B, Funk, Blues, 60s bands, current Pop bands, and other genres. Bonnie weaves an old Earl Hooker song with Anouk, or Van Morrison with Dr John. No limits. Bonnie has been producing and airing live shows for the past 10 years on WRFR.  Thanks for tuning in.


7 p.m. - 8 p.m. I Just Came to Play Music

Ben Martin Is a 17 year-old student at Medomak Valley High School. He has a wide variety of music to share and a deep appreciation for vinyl, film, and comedy. He lives in Warren.


8 p.m. - 10 p.m.  The Vinyl Hour

(also Thurs 2 – 4 p.m.)

The program showcases a variety of musical genres including the Blues, Jazz, Rock and Pop, Country, the Big Band era and more. Kyle plays only vinyl records from his extensive collection, broadcasting live. With turntables spinning, he travels back in time, “letting the tone arm gently ride the groove.”


10 p.m. - 12 a.m.  Late Night Groove w/Bruce Swan

(repeats Tuesdays 11 p.m. - 1 a.m.)
Join Bruce as he explores and introduces you to new singers, songwriters and bands that you may not have heard of..or maybe you have!
