Youngtown Road closure set for Oct. 19

By Staff | Oct 19, 2017

LINCOLNVILLE — A planned closure of Youngtown Road will take place Oct. 19 for culvert replacement work.

All residences and businesses will be accessible at all times from one end of Youngtown Road or the other, according to Lincolnville Town Administrator David Kinney.

The culvert replacement project is located between 217 Youngtown Road (from the Lincolnville Beach end of Youngtown Road) and 245 Youngtown Road (from the Youngtown Inn end of the road).

The road closure will not take place until after the morning school bus run and at least one lane of the road will be open to traffic in time for the afternoon school bus.

The town apologizes for any inconvenience the closure may cause, Kinney said.
