    Health care employees honored at luncheon

    Every year since 1985, Waldo County Healthcare Inc. has recognized its employees who are celebrating a fifth anniversary of employment.     Parrot Cannon, 150-year old oven firing at Fort Knox 4th of July weekend

    The Friends of Fort Knox are sponsoring a Civil War cannon-firing Saturday and Sunday, July 3-4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring the 6th Maine Battery Civil War Re-enactors.     Northport girl celebrates first birthday

    Quinlan Rose Kitchen celebrated her first birthday May 15 with family and friends at her home in Northport. She had a Dr. Seuss party hosted by her parents, Donald and Renee Kitchen.
