    Camp Forest children parade through Brooks

    Camp Forest, a wilderness day and expedition camp for children, participated in the annual July 4th parade in Brooks, where the camp is located. The campers who were able to attend decorated the float and themselves. They were shooting arrows of natural candy donated by the Belfast Coop, distributing seashells and information.     Stockton Springs Steeple Committee announces events

    The Stockton Springs Steeple Committee has been hard at work planning fundraising events for the rest of the summer and into the fall.     The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), in collaboration with Mid-Coast Mental Health, is sponsoring a free peer-to-peer education program in Waldo County for those diagnosed with mental illness.     Mental illness alliance holds support group

    The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), in collaboration with Mid Coast Mental Health, is sponsoring a free support group specifically for individuals diagnosed with a mental illness.     Northport VFW post in search of crafty people

    The Northport Memorial Post 6131, located on Route 1, will hold a craft fair to be held Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are currently looking for more participants.     Hospital Aid’s garden walk slated
