Susan Smith-Riedel

In 1988 I was an officer at a national life insurance company in New York. My children were grown and it was time for a change. I wanted something with a personal touch. Real estate is about real life, and what matters to me is compassion … and people. I logged 12 years in the business before moving to Saint George in 2000. It was a dream come true. I think I was born to be a farmer. I love the serenity and the simplicity of life here. And there's a real feel of community.

I also relish handling a range of work. I have sold everything from 45 thousand dollar foreclosures to million dollar homes. That's what makes me love this business --dealing with people from every walk of life, and feeling like I've made a difference. My marketing background helps me sell effectively, and I have a knack for matching my buyers with houses. The details and paperwork stay in the background, and I handle them flawlessly.

Off-hours I like to hike, kayak, garden and I volunteer at our local humane society. I also love spending time with my grandchildren.
