Aging Well in Waldo County, Mason’s Elder Outreach’ renewed for second year
The Masons do small home repairs and maintenance, such as climbing on ladders to change light bulbs, clean gutters or fix a broken step. A grant awarded by the Grand Lodge of Maine has been set aside to handle small purchases. The service is free, but donations to the fund for repairs are welcome.

Waldo Calling reaches out to isolated seniors
This Aging Well in Waldo County initiative asks the public's help in identifying seniors who might benefit from regular contact by Waldo Calling volunteers. Waldo Calling would also welcome more volunteers to help with this outreach.
