Bucksport teacher charged with assaulting kindergarten student

Kindergarten teacher Christian Koelbl, 52, of Stockton Springs was charged with aggravated assault on Nov. 22. The child did not require medical treatment, according to police, who explained that the charge was classified as aggravated because of the child’s age.
