    Lobster rules suspended to allow hauling in advance of Hurricane Irene

    The Department of Marine Resources has suspended evening and weekend closed hauling periods for lobster fishermen, effective immediately. Lobster fishermen will be allowed to haul and move lobster traps anytime until Hurricane Irene passes by Maine.
