    Wowza! Common Ground Country Fair had a banner year of fair attendees — 67,848. Fortunately, they did not all walk through the Fleece Tent, where I spent all day every day selling bags of wool. We had 26 different shepherds bring in their clips, bags of shorn fleece, totaling over 600 lbs. of wool. And, almost all of it sold!

    Well, folks, my rain gauge on Thursday night, Sept. 22, said 2 ⅛ inches of rain! And I spent the day at MOFGA setting up the Fleece Tent and receiving bags of wool for the fleece sale, while buckets and buckets of rain fell. Everyone is looking forward to a clear and windy weekend for the fair.
