Northport caterer sentenced to 150 days for theft, tax crimes
Over the course of eight years, James Toennis collected taxes on sales made through his catering business, Coastal Maine Critters Clambakes, but kept the money for himself. A judge sentenced Toennis to 150 days and ordered him to pay $35,834 in multiple payments over the next few years for restitution.

New kennel owners say their favorite people are dogs
Kamrie and Greg Hodgeman, owners of Paws & Claws Pet Spa and Grooming, have taken over the former Canine Country Club. They are welcoming dogs for boarding now, and plan extensive renovations to offer services for cats and other small pets as well.
