Midcoast Forecast – November 26, 2021

Low pressure is tracking through the region Friday bringing rain across southern Maine and snow north and in the mountains. Rain will change over to all snow Friday night as the low exits to the north and east pulling in colder air in its wake. We’ll see lingering snow showers Friday morning followed by cloudy and windy conditions with highs in the low to mid 30s and wind chill values in the 20s. Snow totals will range from a trace to 2″ along the coast, 2″ to 4″ inland, and 3″ to 6″ in the mountains and north. We’ll see more sunshine and lighter winds Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 30s as high pressure builds in from the south. Another wave of low pressure will pass by offshore on Monday providing a chance of light snow along the coast followed by clearing Tuesday with highs holding in the 30s.
